NY Powerball Player Wins $1M In Labor Day Weekend Drawing
A New York lottery player is $1 million richer after matching five numbers in the Monday, Sept. 1 Powerball drawing, officials said.
The winning numbers for Labor Day were 8, 23, 25, 40, and 53, with a Powerball of 5 and a Power Play multiplier of 3x, according to the Powerball website.
The $1 million ticket matched all five white balls but missed the red Powerball. No one won the jackpot, which has now ballooned to an estimated $1.30 billion for Wednesday, Sept. 3, with a cash value of $589 million, officials said.

While no one walked away with Saturday night’s $925 million Powerball jackpot, several lucky players still struck it rich — including some right here in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
The Aug. 30 winning numbers were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and the Powerball 17, with a 3x Power Play, lottery officials said.

$762K Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket Sold At Montvale Gas Station
A Bergen County player is starting the weekend $762,724 richer after matching all five numbers in Thursday night’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing — the 45th jackpot win of 2025.
The winning numbers were 10, 12, 14, 21, and 42. The XTRA was 04 and Bullseye was 14, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
The winning ticket was sold at Chestnut Ridge Exxon Tiger Market, 142 Chestnut Ridge Rd. in Montvale, which will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling it.
The jackpot has reset to $150,000 for Friday’s drawing.
