Kent Man Knocked Out Girlfriend's Tooth, Say Police
KENT, N.Y. – A 50-year-old Kent man is facing misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief charges after punching his girlfriend in the face and knocking out one of her front teeth, police said. Police arrested Ronald Larkin on Sept. 19 after they responded to a call from the alleged victim. Larkin, who is also accused of damaging the woman’ cell phone, was later arraigned in Kent Town Court, where he was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, police said. Police ID East Fishkill Man, 27, Killed By Car
EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A man killed Monday when he was struck by a car on Route 82 has been identified by authorities as Richard Fuhst Jr.Investigators released the 27-year East Fishkill man's identity in a statement Wednesday. Fuhst was wearing dark clothing while walking in a dimly lit southbound traffic lane on Route 82 near Oak Ridge Road Monday night when he was struck by a southbound 1999 Ford station wagon, police said.
