ID Released For 28-Year-Old Woman Killed In Southern State Parkway Crash Authorities have identified a Long Island woman who died in a crash on the Southern State Parkway. The wreck occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, March 4, in the eastbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway near exit 41 in Islip. On Wednesday, March 6, New York State Police identified the victim as 28-year-old Stephanie Malone, of Ronkonkoma.  She was the sole occupant of a Nissan Altima. The Rensselaer County incident happened at around 5 p.m. Friday, March 1, in Sand Lake on Johnny Cake Lane.
