Report Of Stabbing At Elementary School In Capital Region Under Investigation Police are investigating reports of a stabbing at an elementary school in the region. Emergency crews in Albany were called to the Schuyler Achievement Center, located on Clinton Avenue, at around 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 for a person suffering from a stab wound in the nurse’s office. Ex-Con Stabbed Long Island Nurse 25 Times, Left Her For Dead In Woods, Jury Finds Sandra McIntosh died at the same hospital where she spent her days caring for others. The Stony Brook University Hospital nurse and Medford resident was found with multiple stab wounds on the night of July 22, 2021 in a wooded area of Holtsville. Mufid Fawaz Alkhader, age 28, of Schenectady, appeared in Albany federal court on Friday, Dec. 8, where he was arraigned on one count of unlawfully possessing a firearm. Shoplifter Punches, Threatens To Stab Employee At Long Island Stop & Shop, Police Say Police are asking for help in identifying an alleged shoplifter accused of assaulting and threatening to stab an employee at a Long Island store.
