Patient Stabs 2 Nurses At Hospital In Capital Region, Police Say Two nurses are recovering after a patient allegedly stabbed them at a hospital in the region. The Saratoga County attack happened early Sunday, Oct. 1, in Saratoga Springs at the Saratoga Hospital. According to sheriff’s officials, the suspect stabbed both employees, leaving them with visible injuries. The wounds were not considered life threatening. Suffolk County Police are working to identify two suspects accused of stealing a shopper’s credit cards from a Long Island Costco. The theft occurred Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Costco in Commack, located on Garet Place. Police said the victim’s credit cards were stolen from her purse, which was sitting in a shopping cart.
