Mahopac Resident Named New Schools Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo is the new man in charge of Mahopac's public schools. DiCarlo, who lives in Mahopac, was given a five-year contract by the Mahopac Board of Education at Thursday's meeting to be the district's new superintendent. DiCarlo, who serves as principal of Trinity Elementary School in New Rochelle, starts on Feb. 26. Starbucks Opening In Elmsford Starbucks lovers will have a new place to check out in Westchester. The coffee giant has signed a 10-year-lease to open at 280 East Main Street in Elmsford. The 2,200 square foot store will also feature a drive-thru. The store is expected to open in the spring. The Starbucks is part of the Apex at 290 property, an 81-unit residential development.
