$4K Stolen From Older Easton Adult By Caretaker, Police Say
A Northampton County caretaker wanted for allegedly stealing $4,000 from an older adult has been arrested, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 29.
Lisa Guzman, 44, of Easton, was taken into custody on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2025, by the Fountain Hill Police Department, according to Forks Township police.
Guzman had been sought after an investigation into unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling $4,000 from the account of an older adult under her care. The thefts occurred on the 2700 block of Destiny Lane in Forks Township on Saturday, March 8 at 9:23 a.m., police said.

A police officer and a former township public works official are facing felony charges after investigators say they rigged bids and stole township vehicles in Upper Southampton, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Derek J. Gale, 47, of Morrisville, a current Upper Southampton Township police officer, and Brandon F. A trio responsible for outages in Maryland is facing charges after a series of copper wire thefts from Verizon poles.
According to Maryland State Police officials, three people have been arrested after allegedly cutting copper wire from active power poles in Cecil County that caused chaos on three separate occasions for area residents.
The thefts resulted in widespread communication service interruptions and caused an estimated total loss and damage exceeding $66,000, police say.

Police say a Hamden man is behind one of Norwalk’s largest storage burglaries.
Tylon Gardner, 35, of Hamden, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 10, after a yearlong investigation into a break-in at Cubesmart on Bouton Street in Norwalk.
Authorities said 89 storage units were entered, and among the stolen items were firearms.

A 38-year-old man bit a driver during a violent carjacking in Lower Paxton Township, police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Brady Rhydall Williams, 38, of Harrisburg, forcibly pulled a driver from his vehicle on the 6000 block of Meade Court around 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, according to the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police.
