The man accused of gunning down a South Jersey mother in a park last November has been charged with murder, authorities announced Wednesday, May 7.
Teaoshia Lakrisha Still, 36, was found shot to death around 5:10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, in Waltman City Park in Millville, NJ, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, prosecutors said. The case launched a months-long homicide investigation involving both the Millville Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.

A 29-year-old Texas man was found bleeding from a stab wound at a Mahwah hotel Saturday morning, and police are searching for the woman they say did it.
Officers with the Mahwah Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, Mahwah Police Capt. Guido Bussinelli said in a release issued Wednesday, May 7.

A Morris County man admitted to threatening to kill a political commentator in an online video and group message, federal officials said.
Haim Braverman, 47, of Morris Plains, pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to transmitting threats in interstate commerce, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba announced Tuesday, May 6. He entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Evelyn Padin. Sentencing is set for Sept. 15, 2025.

2 Killed After Being Struck By Train In Sandy Hook, Officials Confirm
Two people were struck and killed by a MARC commuter train on Tuesday evening, May 6, in Maryland, officials confirmed.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m., when MARC Train 875, traveling westbound from Washington, D.C. to Martinsburg, hit two individuals who were walking on the tracks east of the Harpers Ferry station in Sandy Hook, according to Veronica Battisti, Senior Director of Communications and Marketing for the MTA.
