Maxwell Jacob Friedman, the All Elite Wrestling World Champion and one of the biggest bad guys in professional wrestling, is being honored in his Nassau County hometown on Monday, April 3. Threat Briefly Locks Down Bayonne High School A Hudson County high school had resumed normal operations as of 11:30 a.m., after a threat placed it briefly in lockdown. Bayonne High School received a "non-credible safety threat" on Monday, April 3, and went into lockdown "out of an abundance of caution," the Bayonne School District wrote on its Facebook page. Bayonne Police Department was assisting Bayonne Security with the investigation, the district said.

Pair Charged In Shooting Death Of Union County Man: Prosecutor Arrests have been made in the shooting death of 22-year-old Emmanuelle Florestal, which occurred last October, authorities in Union County said. Ahmad Conde, a 19-year-old Elizabeth resident, and Ducarmel Georges, a 19-year-old Brooklyn resident, have each been charged with first degree murder, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said. Bergen County Man Hoping To Live On His Own Terms A Bergen County man with special needs is hoping to get the funds he needs in order to live a more independent life. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for John Montuori, 31, who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, a degenerative neuromuscular disorder. Tracking Device Foils Hoboken Bank Robber A 24-year old man was arrested and charged with robbing a bank in Hoboken, after police were able to use a tracking device attached to his loot. Hoboken police allege Jamil Deacon, a Hoboken resident, passed a note to bank tellers at the Santander Bank demanding $40,000 be handed to him and verbally threatened to shoot them if they did not comply. The suspect made off with $1,100, police said.
