It was that moment that drove Henri Landwirth to begin Give the Kids the World Village, a 79-acre nonprofit “storybook” resort in central Florida where children with life-threatening illness and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations.

Naylor, of Lockport, N.Y., is accused of trying to lure the 14-year-old into a face-to-face meeting. Poughkeepsie Man Charged In Walmart Shoplifting Incident
ULSTER, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man accused of stealing nearly $2,000 worth of merchandise from a Walmart store in Ulster is facing a felony charge, according to authorities.In a Facebook post Thursday, Ulster police identified the suspect as Sean C. Grant.
Grant, 35, is accused of taking a shopping cart filled with assorted items stolen from the store at 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd. According to police, Grant was arrested late Tuesday afternoon.
After his arraignment in Ulster Town Court, Grant was taken to the Ulster County jail, where he was held on $500 cash bail, according to police.

Woman In Taconic Crash Drove Drunk, Had Children In Car, Police Say
MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- A Sleepy Hollow woman driving drunk with two children in the car was arrested Friday after crashing on the Taconic State Parkway, according to New York state police.
Adriana M. Pentz had a blood alcohol content greater than four times the legal limit when she crashed into another car in the southbound lanes of the parkway near Cleveland Street shortly after noon, police said. Two of her children, ages 1 and 3, were passengers in the car. No serious injuries were reported, according to authorities.
