Monsey-based Company Gains Majority Ownership Of Minisceongo Golf Club
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The new majority owners of a 60-acre, $32 million golf course are based in Monsey, and, as of this week, their plans for the land remain unclear, according to lohud.com.
The Minisceongo Golf Club was purchased earlier this month by Mount Ivy LLC, which now owns 78 percent of the property while another partner, Lindifrim Pomona Limited Partnership, owns about 21 percent, according to lohud.com.
Mount Ivy LLC shares the same Old Nyack Turnpike address as Congregation Ribnitz Binyan Torah. Lindifrim is listed in Lakewood, N.J., according to lohud.com.

Suffern Man Crashed Snowmobile Into Police Car, Cops Say
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A 24-year-old Suffern man is facing criminal charges after crashing a snowmobile into a police car, according to authorities.
The man, whose name was not released, suffered a leg injury in the Saturday night crash near the intersection of Lonergan Drive and Temple Lane. In addition to crashing into the police cruiser, the 24-year-old also struck and then flipped over a parked car, police said.
The 24-year-old was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
