Rye RoadHouse Gets 'Good' Review In New York Times
RYE, N.Y. -- While tracing the recent history of a High Street restaurant in Rye, The New York Times awarded The Rye Roadhouse a "good" rating.The Times hailed the restaurant's 20 types of beer, it's excellent Blood Marys, it's atmosphere and several of its menu items, including the jumbalaya, the cheeseburgers, the blackened meatloaf and the bacon explosion sliders.
According to the Times, the establishment is frequently occupied by sports fans, families, couples and friends.

Ramapo Police, Medics Use Naloxone To Revive Overdose Victim
RAMAPO, N.Y. – Ramapo police and a paramedic saved the life of a 19-year-old overdose victim Friday, Jan. 15, by using Naloxone.
Police and medics from the William P. Faist Ambulance Corp responded to the Chestnut Ridge home to find the victim, whose identity was not released, according to police.
While police administered the treatment, which is designed specifically for those who have overdosed on heroin or other opioids, they were aided by the Faist medics and later a team from Rockland Paramedic Services, Inc., according to police.
